Dear ISPRS Members,

I am writing on behalf of TOR #5 of ISPRS WGI/1 to request your participation in our task to Standardize Airborne Platform Interface.
See below for our Mission and Goals. We request thateach ISPRS member country complete the attached questionnaire and return it by 15 May 2010. The questionnaire is attached in .doc and .pdf format, please ue the version that is best for you. You can email it to me or fax to +1 813 828 3310. Please answer as many questions as apply to your country.

Please let us know if it is not applicable. We are working very hard to establish standardized certification for airborne instruments but we require your input for accuracy.

TOR #5 Mission: Support the regulatory agencies in obtaining airborne science sensor certification and approval requirements for Lidar, Dropsonde and electromagnetic spectrum emissions.

Goals: To work with the regulatory agencies of participating nations to foster a better understanding among these groups of the importance of these airborne sensors to environmental research and the efforts put forth to insure their safe operation with the ultimate goal of achieving certification for their use aboard airborne platforms.

Thank you in advance for your participation.
