THE GEOMATICS CANADA
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM


Regrets, the program has ended.


Funded by Natural Resources Canada and administered annually by the Canadian Institute of Geomatics (CIG), this scholarship was created to assist students enrolled in a post secondary institution in the field of Geomatics.

In October 2002, the program was expanded to include up to four (3) graduate level University Scholarships of $2,500, up to eight (6) undergraduate level University Scholarships of $2,000 and up to eight (6) College/Technical Institute Scholarships of $1,500 awarded annually and distributed throughout the geomatics disciplines.

The Canadian Institute of Geomatics will also present each of the scholarship winners with a complimentary one-year student membership which includes a subscription to Geomatica.

ELIGIBILITY

1. These annual scholarships shall be made to students in good standing, registered full time, in a recognized university, technical institution or community college in Canada. Students must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.

2. Students must be continuing a course of study in the field of geomatics within a full time, co-op program or post-graduate studies.

3. Students awarded a scholarship are not eligible in any subsequent year.
