An individual administrator of an institution must “Register” at http://pubs.cig-acsg.ca/journal/cig (top right) in order to create their account to access their usage statistics and set up their banners. The administrator must inform the Publisher - Canadian Institute of Geomatics (CIG) at email@example.com, that they have done so plus provide information as to which institute they are administering. This institute will be verified as a valid subscriber by the CIG. Once verification is completed, we will link the individual to the institute as the administrator.
The banner text is stored within the record of the institute and is based on IP address and SET UP by the ADMINISTRATOR. Unfortunately, in some cases, IP addresses overlap for various institutes. It is necessary to ensure that IP
addresses are valid; these cases will be handled on a case by case basis.
IP ADDRESS USAGE STATISTICS:
Once the ADMINISTRATOR’s data is in the system, he/she will be able To log into their account to obtain usage statistics. Note that your IP’s has to be in the system for at least a few weeks, a new customer cannot obtain their usage stats right away.
Individuals must have a first name, last name and email address. When a new email address is uploaded into the system, the individual receives an automated email asking them to validate their subscription. They will not have an account or access until this is completed
